Fair trade in our friendly café

Our Coffee Shop serves "the best cups of coffee in town", according to its regulars. And every brew is from high-quality Fairtrade beans and tea, sourced from a Christian company that guarantees a fair price to overseas farmers, many operating in difficult conditions on tiny margins.

But it's not only the choice of several Fairtrade coffee styles on offer at low prices that attract many patrons to St Andrew's Coffee Shop.

It's a place where people can meet for a chat, or come to make new friends. We get all ages - mums and toddlers, the elderly and many working people who choose to discuss business here. They can enjoy superb cappuccino, café latte and regular coffee, or a variety of teas, without paying 'town centre' prices. Our food menu changes with the seasons and we always use fresh produce, carefully prepared and at affordable prices.

Local mums appreciate our toddler-friendliness. "There are not many places where you can relax and make friends while the children play with toys," said one mother. "My kids can have fun - and they do a good café latte here! It's handy when you've been shopping, too."

Another regular customer said the most important thing to him was the welcome he always gets. "The staff are so friendly," he said. "I'm retired and live a few miles away, but I always pop in here when I come to Woking. The food's good, yet reasonably priced but, for me, it's the people working here who make it so special."

Based in our church building at Goldsworth Park Centre, our Coffee Shop also benefits from a playroom for the kids and hundreds of free parking spaces, being sited near the Health Centre, Waitrose and several other shops.
